Simple AutoHotkey Scripts on Startup

As someone who uses my PC almost everyday, I just want to do stuff quick and easy.

Listening to Spotify or my local music files on WACUP, I just want to assign keys on my mechanical keyboard to quickly play/pause songs or mute the volume. These keys should be universal and persistent, would work when the window is minimized or not. How to achieve that? By using hotkeys, of course.

A hotkey or keyboard shortcut is a key or combination of keys that performs a certain action when pressed. We can assign hotkeys by using a program called AutoHotkey.

List of Coolwares

Coolwares as in cool freeware(s) (⌐■_■)

Since learning how to use a computer, I've used several free and paid applications to make my computer experience worthwhile. I've mostly tinkered with freeware because they're easier to access and get the job done most of the time. I've always thought it was crazy that most of the applications I use on PC are free and aren't crippled by ads, compared to what I experience on mobile where almost every premium feature is locked by a subscription.

I've been a Windows user for years, since Windows 95 to Windows 10. Windows 11 doesn't run on my hardware, boo, but I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. The only macOS I've tinkered was my friends' and different flavors of Linux via Live CD. I'm planning on buying an old ThinkPad to play with different Linux distros, but I digress. I'm quite familiar with Windows so Windows apps we'll explore.
